Green Acres Manor News - Oct. 2005
Where did the summer go? September 22 was officially the first day of Fall. WOW! Halloween will be upon us soon. I can’t wait to dress up with all of the folks here and have a spooky ole time.
We had a few lately. Monica turned ???? I can’t say, she’d kill me!
Betty celebrated her 84th on September 21. Congratulations!
Say hello to Vivian Gates the next time you stop by. She joined us mid-month and is a very welcome addition to our family.
I want to remind everyone of the Alzheimer’s Association Wine Country Memory Walk which is on Saturday, October 8th starting at 9am at Spring Lake Park. Please come down to join our team or donate to a great cause that is close to all of our hearts.
We had a great week during the National Assisted Living Week. Our caregivers are much appreciated for all they do. Thank you to all of you who stopped by.
We now have a service that will bring us fresh floral bouquets each week for our dining room tables. They are beautiful, smell great, and add a wonderful touch to each meal experience. If you are interested, bouquets can be purchased for individual rooms from $20 per week. What a great value! Call me for more details.
We continue to make improvements to Green Acres Manor. In the past month, we have installed 2 ceiling fans in rooms that previously did not have them, re-decorated 2 other rooms with new paint, bedding, and curtains, added new bath linens, new silverware, and updated some electrical items. We will continue to make improvements every month in order to provide the best care home environment in the Sonoma Valley and beyond. Remember to share any ideas and or feedback with us as we are always looking to improve. Thank you, and enjoy the beginning of fall.
